Top 5 NFL Quarterbacks
5. Brock Purdy
The first Mr.rrelevant (last pick in the draft) to ever make it to the Super Bowl, Brock Purdy has played exceptionally well and led his team to the championship game this year. Although he has weapons such as Deebo Samuel Christian McCaffrey, George Kittle and more, he leads the league in stats such as quarterback rating, completion percentage, yards per attempt, and lands in the top 5 for many other stats. Yet, I cannot put him any higher on the list because of the system coach Kyle Shanahan and general manager John Lynch have built around him. Stats: 4280 passing yards, 31 passing touchdowns, 11 interceptions, 144 rushing yards, two rushing touchdowns according to ESPN player stats
4. Dak Prescott
Despite all the hate from Cowboys fans and haters, Dak Prescott has had a very impressive season. Many called him a “tur over machine” he only has 9nine interceptions and an impressive 36 touchdowns in 2023. He was included in the MVP race, and was a favorite for a number of games, and proved to be the best version of this quarterback we’ve seen thus far. Stats: 4,516 yards, 36 passing touchdowns, nine interceptions, 242 rushing yards, two rushing touchdowns according to ESPN player stats
3. Josh Allen
Josh Allen’s gameplay has proven to be one of the league’s most impressive. He is one of the most physically strong of this quarterback class — his speed, strength, and size brought him to 15 rushing touchdowns. He had less notable weapons than others on this list, but still proved himself as a top three talent. Stats: 4,306 passing yards, 29 passing touchdowns, 18 interceptions, 524 rushing yards, 15 rushing touchdowns.ESPN player stats
2. Patrick Mahomes
Patrick Mahomes has proved to be an amazing player these past few years, arriving in his fourth Super Bowl appearance in five seasons with the potential to win his third ring. He is widely considered to be one of the best to ever play quarterback, and certainly has the most impressive track record out of his competition, and continued to yield a powerful season with solid quarterback play. Stats: 4,183 passing yards, 27 passing touchdowns, 14 interceptions, 389 rushing yards according to ESPN player stats
1. Lamar Jackson
The fastest of everyone on this list, Lamar Jackson is a massive dual threat on the field, rushing for 821 yards, and 5 rushing touchdowns. He has one MVP to his name and is the favorite to win another. He had a very impressive season with the Ravens this year, who came in as a dark horse and snuck their way to the No 1 seed in the AFC. Although his playoffs were cut short by the Kansas City Chiefs, he still had a very impressive season and sparked the league in quarterback rushing. Stats: 3,678 passing yards, 24 passing touchdowns, and seven interceptions, 821 rushing yards, five rushing touchdowns according to ESPN player stats
