This is fourth in a series about new teachers at Bear River.
The Bruin community is loving the new Drama teacher, Sarah Noah.
Mrs. Noah teaches sophomore English, senior English, and Drama. She said she has taught every level of student, from preschool to senior citizens.
Mrs. Noah’s student’s have expressed their fondness for the new teacher.
“She is really sweet and teaches good,” said Josiah Gregar, a sophomore.
“She is nice,”said Garrett Pratt, a sophomore. “(Mrs. Noah is) a great teacher and really enjoys her job.”
Students said they appreciated her teaching style.
“She takes time to give us details on what we’re learning,” said Tristan Drake, a sophomore.
Among her achievements, Mrs. Noah said she has also developed a year-long film studies program, which was UC/CSU approved. She said she chose to work at Bear River High School because moving to Grass Valley was a longtime goal for her family. She said she wants more students to join Drama and understand how the theater program works. This would ultimately build up the drama program, she said.
“The students are hard working and I felt very welcomed here by staff, students, and parents,” Mrs. Noah said.
