At the end of the second week of the current school year, Ag Mechanics Teacher Morgan Perry went on a leave of absence from the classroom, leaving students and parents confused about the future of the program. According to administration, Ms. Perry’s return date is unknown at this time. The administration is currently looking for a coach to help with Ag Mechanics competition; the season begins in January.

With the lack of a consistent long-term sub who is certified to open the shop, the curriculum has come to a stand still, leaving students with little to do in the classroom. As administration tries to resolve the sub and coaching situation, some Bruins fill class time by playing games and working on other classwork.
