As the class competition continues with seniors and juniors, one of the best Bear River’s Powderpuff traditions. It is a time where the juniors and seniors can compete and have fun playing the game while playing under the lights in front of a full stadium.

In this year’s game, the seniors won 12-0. Senior Audri Cha wanted to win again, after being on the winning team as a junior last year.

“It was like we were determined to stay undefeated and so we pushed, showed up, showed out, and proved who ran this game and we won,: Cha said.“It went better than I thought, to be completely honest. With all the talk about this person said that and that person said this. It definitely gave us motivation to do better than last year and we did!”

Junior Ellee Miller wasn’t quite as impressed.

“My favorite part of the game was when it was over, I honestly didn’t like the game at all because it was boring and not enjoyable,” Miller admitted “I also just didn’t have any fun playing it. I hope that next year’s game is better and that we win. I also want it to be more enjoyable.”

The game is also a time where the lowerclassmen can wear the color of what team they want to win. Juniors were the movie “Clueless” so you would wear yellow if you wanted the juniors to win. Seniors were the movie “Mean Girls” so you would wear pink if you wanted the seniors to win.

Junior Jacob Fassler is already looking forward to next year.

“It was fun but disappointing that we lost,: he said. “I hope that next year’s game is better and that we can win. Also our junior cheerleaders were better than the seniors,so I hope that continues next year.”
