Bear River’s librarian, Danielle Cavolt, also known as Mrs. Dani or Mrs. Cavolt, is a wonderful person when you need someone to talk to.
“She just has that personality that’s welcoming and warm, and she likes to have calming music, and a good smelling diffuser going or something like that," said Bethany Heuseveldt, her close friend of two decades and her cousin-in law.
Jessica Dax was the librarian for more than a decade, and she provided a welcoming environment. Students may wonder what Mrs. Dani keeps bringing to the library.
“The inviting atmosphere in the library where students will want to be there, they feel comfortable there, and they want to spend time there,” said Bear River teacher Annie Rantz.
As the community openly accepts Cavolt, she has opened up to what encouraged her to accept the job.
“I think I have reached a point in my life where this community has meant a lot to me,” she said. “It has supported me through a really tough time, and I wanted to be able to be a part and a bit more integrated in it, and be able to give back, and, as well have more student interaction and parent interaction.”
Although Cavolt has only been a staff member at Bear River for a little while, many students have had great interactions with her.
“I feel that she's a very loving and kind person that really just wants to help out everyone,” junior Cooper Lunsford said. “I believe that she's just an overall positive person on the campus.”
Cavolt is a mother of three — Kaden, Nathan, and Logan — and felt this was a great opportunity to be involved in her kids' lives and be a part of the community.
“My youngest goes here, and I felt like it was a good opportunity to have a full time job, but yet still feel like I'm able to be a mom first,” Cavolt said, “So the job fit the needs that I was looking for, and also gave me an opportunity to be more connected to those around me.”
